Mobsters,
I hope you are all out there getting by without too much trouble, and maybe even a bit of sunshine in your lives. This is a quick note to all of you who might not have had a chance to read my latest short story, “Don’t Tell,” which came out from CHM in their April Issue #46. You can now read it for free here!
A bit longer than your average short story clocking in at 6900 words, this dark tale explores the legacy of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell on the US military, and the lengths to which even the dead may go to keep their secrets hidden. I have to also issue a content warning for suicide. No spoiler there, as we learn of the young cadet’s death in the opening paragraphs.
Stay cool during the coming heat wave.
And thank you so much for reading.
